Japan Chibi Weekend Madrid Is Coming

JAPAN CHIBI WEEKEND is an international event focusing on Japanese and Korean culture held in Madrid.Fans can enjoy video games, anime, manga or singing your favorite music as karaoke. There are also cosplay contests and live concerts.




Last year, we enjoyed it with the DRAGON BALL EXPOSITION. There were a lot of AKIRA TORIYAMA S original pictures and figures. I have loved DRAGON BALL since I was a teenager, so it was a pleasure to see the original artwork and character designs from Son Goku and his family.



Also, NEON GENESIS EVANGELION had a very special focus with original pictures from the movie and characters designs. In Spain, EVANGELION has a lot of fans and they were enthralled by the display.



Spanish fans go crazy with JAPAN CHIBI WEEKEND MADRID and dress in cosplay based on their favorite manga. The organization says that this year is going to be the greatest; they promise that there will be many activities to delight followers including competitions, workshops, exhibitions, concerts. They are also going to have a bigger space (almost 8.000 m2). It will be a weekend full of Manga.
